3, 2, 1 Launch!!

Soooo, Aina and I will open our first store on Thursday (November 9, 2009).  It’s hard to believe that we actually made it to the finish line.  We have watched so many people try to open stores this year and frankly, none of them made it all the way.

When you see other people work as hard as you who know just as much about business as you do, it tends to have a humbling effect…at least, it has certainly humbled Aina and I.  I don’t know if the current market is tough or if the preceding market was just too forgiving.  Either way, I am so thankful that we had people focused on making sure that we opened for business and I have a huge sense of accomplishment now that we’re opening.

I have attached a few pics of our store’s progress if you’re interested in checking them out.  I can’t say that every day in this process was fun or easy.  I can however say that it was a challenging and rewarding experience that I will look back upon fondly for many years to come.  Again, thanks so much to our friends and family for your support over the last 18 months.  We’ll see you at the launch party.
